Kejriwal Criticises Parvesh Sahib Singh Over Tilak Nagar Incident
New Delhi, September 28: A political row has erupted over a viral video purportedly showing Delhi PWD Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh slapping a man during a road inspection in Tilak Nagar.
AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal criticised the incident and demanded action against the minister. He also questioned the quality of the newly constructed road, alleging that parts of it could be removed by hand and claiming corruption in the project.
Singh, however, rejected the allegations and said the man involved was an AAP worker who had allegedly obstructed the inspection and abused his family. He also disputed Kejriwal’s description of the man as a Gen Z representative.
The controversy has since escalated into a wider AAP-BJP confrontation, with complaints and police cases reportedly filed in connection with the incident.
