New Delhi | August 13, 2026: Delhi-NCR is likely to remain under cloudy and rainy conditions today, with showers expected across parts of the region. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast fairly widespread rainfall over Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, with the possibility of thunderstorms in some areas.
The latest forecast suggests that the wet spell may continue over the coming days, with heavy rainfall expected over Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on August 14.
Earlier, India Today reported that an active monsoon system moving from Uttar Pradesh had the potential to bring intense showers and thunderstorms to Delhi-NCR, including Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad.
Residents are advised to remain cautious during heavy showers, particularly in low-lying areas, and allow extra travel time as rain could lead to waterlogging, reduced visibility and traffic disruptions.
